Walmart and Transcarent today announced they would be working together as go-to-market partners for self-insured employers across the country. The agreement allows Transcarent, which offers employees and their dependents a new, different, and better health and care experience, to share Walmart’s everyday low-cost on pharmaceuticals and other services with self-insured employers and their employees for the first time.

Transcarent announced today the appointment of Snezana Mahon, Pharm.D., as Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Mahon will report to Transcarent Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Glen Tullman. Ms. Mahon brings deep expertise in product development, pharmacy benefits management, and value-based care, having spent her career advancing innovative clinical initiatives and utilization management programs at Express Scripts and more recently, Evernorth, a division of Cigna, helping to make the use of prescription medications safer, more affordable, and more accessible for patients.
